Garfield Minus Garfield

Garfield Minus Garfield is a site dedicated to removing Garfield from the Garfield comic strips in order to reveal the existential angst of a certain young Mr. Jon Arbuckle. It is a journey deep into the mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness and depression in a quiet American suburb.

Fitting that I haven’t words to describe this site. It’s real.

Iron Man + Wolverine Anime

YouTube Preview Image

Warren Ellis is apparently in the process of taking a number of Marvel characters in a new direction, adapting stories for multiple Japanese anime series. Currently their are four series planned - each somehow connected, and focusing on a particular Marvel character. So far only Iron Man and Wolverine have been named.

The shows are being produced by Japanese animation studio Madhouse - well known for a number of hugely popular projects, such as Ninja Scroll and Trigun.

Here are the trailers for the two series, which are set to be released in Japan in 2010. Iron Man looks like it could be interesting - Wolverine looks kind of ridiculous, but I have faith.
