Photoshop skills + political wit = my ninja
For years now, Micah Wright has been making posters for his ‘Propaganda Remix’ project.AA All in the style of WWII-era propaganda posters, the art covers a wide array of political topics, all with a special touch of sarcasm.AA Of course, there are some duds, but the good ones in the mix make perusing the project pretty entertaining overall.

Dr. Milly Freeman Golonka
Continuing in the fine tradition of Friday art on www.myninjaplease.com…
"My paintings are expressionist, some are completely abstract, and some much more representational.AA My paintings often have surrealistic elements.AA Because they are paintings, all are inventions, and some can be grouped as ‘fantasy.'"
"My recent paintingsAAAAgroup mostlyAAin three types: woman (or women) series; still life; and environments. Because all my recent paintings are set in my own invented environments, types may overlap."
"The woman series is pretty much self-explanatory.AA They can be narrative, hinting of surrealism."
"My invented still life and environment series are based on real plant and flower forms, sometimes contrasting to geometric forms such as circle, semicircle, edge, line."
"I paint with acrylic on both canvas and fine art paper, such as Arches. The drawing on this site was made with colored markers."
All these images and more and Dr. Milly’s site.AA

The preceding works are all gems of oil on canvas by Hafeez Shaikh, maybe best known for his calligraphy of the 99 names of Allah. These paintings are all taken from a series called Feelings. Lion and Tigers and… Kelsey Brookes
Kelsey Brookes is a talented young artist, first trained as a scientist, who brings you the gritty grimy raw and awesome paintings you see before you. He has a gallery of dope artwork up on his site. Just so you patrons of the arts know, these are some of the milder examples of his work. Definitely go peep it and spread the word.

Organic Art: Federico Junca Acebedo
By now you should already know the deal with myninjaplease.com and the dopest contemporary art, but if you don’t the check out some of the art we continue to feature. Frederico Junca Acebedo is an artist currently residing in Miami Florida. His page features all sorts of eyecandy for the masses. Definitely give it a peep.
Here’s a statement by the man himself:
If i could put it into words there would be no reason to do it. When painting i allways wanted forms to develop in the same way that nature develops its magic, when you start a painting you stop thinking about the painting and art and all of that and then you begin to concentrate in emotions, passions, life, the expresiveness of colors, gestures, shapes and how they interact to absorb you…you step into the painting and get immersed in a whole new world in which the reality is felt rather than represented.
