So sometimes I end up bored and playing with one of the many Google webtoys (tools?). I recently decided (that might not be the right word for it, but alright) to conduct some scientific tests to ascertain which of the world’s cities are the most ninja-ish. I then decided that in the name of healthy competition, I should run the same tests on those wily characters, the pirates. Also, one thing to keep in mind: Ninjas are constantly moving and so are the results of these searches. The rankings change from day to day and sometimes minute to minute, so if you really want to know where is the most ninja-friendly, write in and we’ll help you conduct your own tests.

First Commercial "Darknet" Emerges

The Pirate Party is Sweden’s largest political party outside Parliament. It was founded in January, 2006, and is running for office in this fall’s general elections. The party only has three issues on its agenda: shared culture, free knowledge, and protected privacy.

Wednesday morning at 3:30 am, four dudes picked the wrong apartment in Minneapolis to break into, and consequently, encountered pure ninjadom. After they forced their way inside, one of the residents grabbed his roomate’s sword and let out his inner Zoro, going absolutely medieval on the intruders.AA Despite being sliced and diced like a bunch of tomatoes on a Miracle Blade infomercial, the burglars somehow managed to escape.AA Shortly thereafter, they showed up at the local ER with lacerations and severed fingers, at which point the police were notified and they were aprehended (after receiving medical treatment of course).

Unfortunately, NBC affiliate WLTX is not reporting the sword-wielding man’s name, complicating our plans to bestow upon him an honorary black belt in the fighting style of myninjaplease. Anyone who is keeping it real to such an extent, however, always has an open invitation to train at our dojo, and we hope to cross paths with this warrior soon.

Terrorist Waves?

When I first saw this I thought maybe someone had finally built a stargate, but I guess that’s asking too much. What it is is AMOEBA, a ring of wave machines that can be programmed to display images in the water, such as the ‘s’ seen and other simple shapes like smiley faces and hearts [any real ninja would’ve made a shuriken, but whatever]. The creators hope to make a large scale version, hopefully to manipulate whole regions of the ocean. I’m thinkin that in 10 years time pepsi will have an add across the south pacific.

So, I was originally going to post this as an interesting lil machine that did cool ish with water, but then I re-read the post at Tropolism and realized that the creators of AMOEBA actually think that it could fall into the hands of al-Qaeda and be used to destroy Cali. All because these clowns made an ‘S’ with some wave machines. How is EVERYTHING terror related now? Besides, those cats from al-Qaeda can’t swim! Ninjaplease!
