Snipes on the Run: Part 2
Last we heard the Grand Master himself was snapped in Namibia, a country without an extradition treaty with the U.S.
Here’s the pic:
Of course we can’t actually confirm that it’s him, but if it is, we certainly don’t condone his brazen non-use of disguise. Maybe it’s the post-op photo. Face… offff.
The next bright light Snipes faces, of course, might be that of U.S. marshals seeking his arrest, as he is wanted here on charges of tax fraud. Joanne Reay, one of the producers of "Gallowwalker," the film on which Snipes is working in Nambia, told the Associated Press today, "As far as we understand, Wesley is not going to be arrested in Namibia." What’s more, Snipes is expected to stay in Namibia until December.
According to Reay, Snipes is not staying at the same luxurious lodge at which Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stayed when Jolie was pregnant and gave birth to their daughter Shiloh Nouvel this summer.
Well that’s certainly a relief.

Poo on a Train LP
No its not an album! Ha, fooled ya, but it is an habitual act by a British man who has left his smelly mark on about 30 trains since his reign of terror began in August.

People Who Are Definitely Ninjas, Part 1: Wesley Snipes is the Gingerbread Man
For those of you who don’t yet know (and trust me the ninja communities are on high alert) Grandmaster Wesley Snipes is on the run from the IRS.AA He stands accused of defrauding the government of a cool $12 mil in taxes by not even filing returns for years.AA Now they’re on the hunt for this ninja, and the lost money.AA We happen to know exactly where this money went:AAthese, a couple of these, a few of these, these things… oh and these for the whole clan.AA But just cuz the dude’s a little frivolous with his paramilitary steelo, that’s no reason to be all up in bruh-man’s pockets, is it?
Since he’s been accused, nobody has known his whereabouts.AA But to the authorities, Mr. Snipes is not being harboured by any myninjaplease staff!AA Stop harrassing us!
They think they can catch this ninja?! Ha!!! Wesley Snipes laughs in the face of danger!AA We’ve all seen what he did in U.S. Marshalls and Flight 52 (or whatever)- not to mention BLADE, SON!AA If there’s one ninja equipped to evade the authorities it’s him.AA They’re certainly looking for him, though.
Run Wesley, Run!

Circle of Protection: Afghani! Troops Lack Mana to Burn 10ft Tall Plants
"Sir, three years ago before I joined the army, I never thought I’d say ‘That damn marijuana’."
The Canadians have recognized the evils of battling the evil herb as viewed pictures from this personal web-journal.
The few, the proud, the blazed as sh!t. It can’t be that much different than Canada is for real, though. This just goes to show that where there’s ninjas…
"We tried burning them with white phosphorous — it didn’t work. We tried burning them with diesel — it didn’t work. The plants are so full of water right now … that we simply couldn’t burn them," he said.
This should be telling you something guys… they just ain’t ready to be picked yet.
I’m reminded of a John Holt song. Why do I feel like every time I plant a seed, they say, "kill it before it grow"?…. so I shot I shot I shot.
"The challenge is that marijuana plants absorb energy, heat very readily. It’s very difficult to penetrate with thermal devices. … And as a result you really have to be careful that the Taliban don’t dodge in and out of those marijuana forests," he said in a speech in Ottawa, Canada.
And who’da thunk the Taliban would ever reach ninja status? Thanks to Jay for sending this in!

Keychain Arsenal
"Police and other law enforcement agencies have been told to be on the lookout for two new gadgets — a tiny gun that looks like a key chain trinket and easily could be smuggled onto a plane, and a plastic handcuff key that looks like a pendant."

In the City
This pretty much goes hand in hand with myninjaplease today’sAADesign Monday.
"One of the worst case scenarios in regards to the sweatshop issue is the El Monte crackdown that happened back in August of 1995. 71 workers were held against their will at a gated community in El Monte. They were forced to work up to 18 hours a day and paid only $2 an hour, because the bosses claimed that they owed them a debt. It had been going on for 7 years, and the worst part is that they were producing clothes for major manufacturers."

Ninja on the radio
AAAA nominated for one Ninjie in broadcasting
An aspiring DJ in Hollywood, FL has been arrested for illegally broadcasting Hip-Hop music over the airwaves of a local Country music station.
Darin Satter, 34, allegedly set up a pirateAAninja radio station, which interfered with 99.9 WKIS-FM’s signal. For several weeks, fans of the station - which is known as Kiss Country - heard Hip-Hop music playing instead of the usual country format.
When fans of the station started complaining about the music selection, WKIS engineers tracked the pirate ninja signal to a local trailer park.
Broward Sheriff Office detectives arrived and found a 30-foot-tall broadcasting antenna outside of Satter’s trailer.
Satter was arrested and charged with unauthorized transmission/interference with a licensed public radio station. He is facing up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
"I figured he had a 2way radio, you know a hand radio," Satter’s neighbor said of the 30-foot-antenna.
"and I said, ‘well, gosh darnit!" … okay I made that part up.AA But this is just an indication that we got strongholds everywhere… even in the trailer parks, baby!
This article woulda been lots better sans all that pirate talk.
Can you imagine all these floridian country fans?AA They call in trying to hear some George Strait and the DJ is like, ok, here ya go:
"It’s okaaaay, it’s allllriiight! **** alll dayyyyy, **** all niiight"
"Well gosh darn honey, turn off that jungle racket!"
