Check out this NPR feature on how the changing climate of the music industry is having adverse effects on music magazines. I sort of miss the pre-internet days when magazines were interesting and exciting. When was the last time you payed attention to when the new Source was coming out? But in a way, with all of the blogs floating around, the amount of (free) quality content is hard to argue with… its an interesting issue, one where, for me at least, sentimentality about what it used to mean to be a music enthusiast clashes with pragmatism.
