The Juggaknots - Clear Blue Skies re:release (2002, Third Earth)
I remember first hearing Clear Blue Skies after the re-release on Third Earth, and not knowing what exactly was happening. How could a record this ill have been unavailable for so long? Does this mean that all of the nicest hip-hop is on a shelf somewhere waiting to get a re-release? It seemed like the world as i knew it was crumbling down around me. I already knew the Brewin was a beast from Prince Among Thieves, but hearing him in the context of a regular LP (as opposed to a "hip-hopera") solidified it for me: dude is one of the nicest lyricists to pick up a mike, period.
