  2. OMG, there are so many times of this putz (Mayor Daley) messing up things in our city that it is difficult to understand when people say anything nice about the man. Some of you guys just show that you have no idea. Try taking somethign as benign as Millenium Park or the prettiness of the city–it is gorgeous. Seems simple right, not when you realize that the park cost millions more than needed, took more resources then ever, hired contractors out of contracts, and started a new political rift over whether a building can be placed on lakefront property, etc you begin to see how a simple statement of ‘his city is so clean’ can be inflaming. Sorry, I’m off my soapbox now :-)
