Au Naturale, Ninja… That’s How We Roll…

wooden bikes

Bike style, that is. These bike frames from Xylon (and tell me that’s not a ninja name) are made almost entirely of wood.

From the Xylon site:

"Keeping the number of metal parts to the minimum, the frames are hand built to exacting specifications using state of the art adhesives, aeronautical grade plywood, and seasoned hardwoods each chosen for their natural beauty and mechanical properties. The result of this unprecedented attention to detail is manifested in each bicycle being unique."

  2. I dunno–my brother broke his face mountain biking because of a faulty frame. It literally snapped in half from stress, and was made out of metal. These things probably can’t hold up under super hard-core ninja operations, during which the intergrity of the frame is paramount, even above the integrity of the ninja riding it (although most ninjas have backbones made of solid titanium, the lightest and strongest metal, the ninja of all alloys). I suppose they might do for ninja beach cruising, or perhaps ninja asphalt riding-on.
