Who is Noah Webster?

Noah Webster, the father of royalties, introduced more than 12,000 words into the American vocabulary and changed the endings of common words like honour, to fit a more distinct cultural American appreciation. He also under the new American constitution passed in 1789, was able to pass a new national copyright law, which was to serve the people’s interests against the large publishing houses of the time.
