Who is Ken Bautista?

"Everyone always talks about entrepreneurship like a marathon, that it is a long haul that you have to push through. I say it’s more like ‘parkour’ where you jump from one building top to another. You always need to shift and adapt; and if you do it enough, you begin to anticipate different situations. It’s never going to be a straight path to something and you need to know when something is not working. There is a difference between being stubborn, and knowing when its not working in order to approach it differently." (Source)

Reinventing the Shipping Container Part 8

Puma has made a portable store (Puma City)- how can commercial store applications of the shipping container be brought to consumers? Pop-up shops were all the rage, why not utilize shipping containers for these temporary depots? By bringing surplus crates to vacant lots, stores would not have to bear the cost of building a brand new place to sell there wares, while being able to move onto the next destination…

Vinyl to Grow 25% in 2011

However, 25% may sound like a lot (and for vinyl it is) but the total sales increase for LPs will still only amount to 1.6% of total music sales, which is a pretty paltry amount in a day and age when iTunes makes billions of dollars a year. (Source)
