Of what? OF TEQUILA.

Yes, my ninjies. After several long nerveracking and even insane hours, we have finally managed to get all of our sites to an acceptable level where we can sit back and take a look. You, the reader, may notice that MNP has changed drastically (and for the better, we hope!). Take a look around using the new navigation bars in the middle column. Admire the wonder that is MNP, and think to yourself: FINA-frickin-LY.
There are still many cosmetic changes to be made, but we believe, in the spirit of web 2.0, that you should be able to view the sites while we’re still working. In a week or so this will all look so fresh and so clean. We hope you enjoy the site. Big ups to all our peoples and thanks for your continued support and readership. Let us know what you think (as you always do) by dropping us a line at suggest@myninjaplease.com… or leave a frickin’ comment, son!

A single mega-colony of ants has colonized much of the world, scientists have discovered.
Argentine ants living in vast numbers across Europe, the US and Japan belong to the same interrelated colony, and will refuse to fight one another.
The colony may be the largest of its type ever known for any insect species, and could rival humans in the scale of its world domination.
What’s more, people are unwittingly helping the mega-colony stick together.
Argentine ants (Linepithema humile) were once native to South America. But people have unintentionally introduced the ants to all continents except Antarctica.
These introduced Argentine ants are renowned for forming large colonies, and for becoming a significant pest, attacking native animals and crops.
In Europe, one vast colony of Argentine ants is thought to stretch for 6,000km (3,700 miles) along the Mediterranean coast, while another in the US, known as the ‘Californian large’, extends over 900km (560 miles) along the coast of California. A third huge colony exists on the west coast of Japan.

Firstly you look for old clothes or blankets. Then you put a few condoms around, which you blow up with your mouth, but not with too much air. Just so it’s the same size as a soccer ball. After this you put either a plastic bag or a piece of old clothing over the condom. Then to make it strong, you tear up the old clothing or blanket into long strips and tie the strips all around the condom to strengthen the shape of the ball and make it heavier. Once you can feel it bounces well, you take a strong plastic bag and wrap it around the ball. Lastly you reinforce it by wrapping strong rope or tire wire around it.

I’m not going to say that trying to be witty by combining ‘fade to black’ and ‘wacko jacko’ is itself definitely racist, as that would be a little overly sensitive, I think – but it’s definitely pretty ignorant and in poor taste. That said, it was the cover of the Boston Herald – which means it probably should be read as a racist remark. If nothing else, people should be wondering who in the hell runs that rag – considering this made it to press. I seriously believe this newspaper wants to be known for ignorant and hateful headlines – it’s sad.
The real reason I bring this up? I think it’s important that all you non-Bostonians out there understand what we’ll be stuck with if the Boston Globe and the NY Times don’t figure something out. I know that the Globe/Times story has been national news [at least if you read the Times], and I’m sure many of you didn’t care about the Globe’s future – but do you see what we’ll be stuck with if they close up shop? This is basically their standard stuff.
[Note: To be fair, the Herald doesn't know any better - it's a tabloid. But it will be the only newspaper in this bitch if the Globe goes under, which scares me.]

architects : Felipe Assadi + Francisca Pulido
location : Santiago/Chile
date : 2007
The firm provides no info on the project, other than the name location and date given above – but I think it’s pretty self explanatory. Its an in-situ cast concrete structure, on/within a hill that seems to create a house that is at one with the landscape, blending in to its beautiful surroundings. Rather than emphasizing the house itself, the approach has the visitor looking both across and over the building, and down in and through the house – in both instances back towards the views of the surrounding hills.

And while these two interior images look a little cave-like and enclosed – you need to remember that the other wall is glass, looking out onto the rolling landscape. What an incredibly siiick house…

But do they know the sound of some freshly clipped toenails? My ninja please!
