Some people guessed that he watched the Secret while others postulate that it’s because he has the money to ‘cure’ HIV. I was going to write a whole long thing about his regimen and whatnot but the truth is that nobody knows. I guess some quandaries will never be answered. It struck me today that damn near everyone who was alive at the same time as Magic and had HIV is dead, or at least in the full blown AIDS category. So how is he still alive?? They did a blood test on him recently and they weren’t even able to detect the presence of HIV. Doctors claim that he still has the disease but that it is dormant inside of him.
