6 Container House, Melaque, Mexico

Welcome to "design" tuesdays at myninjaplease! the aim in these parts is to pose questions about the world around us. to get started, we would like to showcase a local, Costalegre development unfolding out in Melaque, Mexico. the architect is working primarily with stucco, cement, and shipping containers. having recently breathed a level 3 hurricane that basically wiped out the whole town, the house will have to endure the possibility of another tide in the next ten years. is stucco really necessary?
