Cultfever
A few tracks, recommended by B, from a Brooklyn-based band on the verge of blowing up.
Through a mass of synths, guitars and gorgeous voices, Cultfever adorns sturdy pop songs with irresistible mystery. Emanating from a small apartment studio in Brooklyn, New York, the sound Cultfever makes is at once hypnotic, romantic and familiar. Their eponymous debut, slated for a 1 November 2011 release, delivers 9 vignettes where they experiment with electronics and soaring choruses.
