City or Sculpture?
With an insane futuristic style, John Powers‘ work is reminiscent of the architecture in movies like Bladerunner and Star Wars, with visions of giant sprawling mega-cities. Is this simply sculpture, or the model for the city of tomorrow? Personally, I want a condo at the end of one of those bridges…sick.

Sports Car Performance Without the Gas
"Independent Silicon Valley-based automaker Tesla has unveiled the Tesla Roadster a€" an all-electric car capable of accelerating to 60 mph in just four seconds, while offering equivalent mileage of 135 mpg, and a 250 mile range. The high-performance roadster is capable of hanging with a Ferrari F430, Porsche Carrera S, or BMW M5. The car has a more-than-sufficient top speed of 130 mph, the automaker said. Funding came from several big names in the technology world, including Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin. The car is expected to cost between $85,000 and $120,000. Deliveries of the Tesla Roadster in the United States are expected to begin next summer. "
This would certainly help for stealth missions, considering electric cars lack the bigAAmotor sound of combustible engine cars.

OG Barcodes Accused of Rape
Japanese company Design Barcode has taken a militant stance on the aesthetic value of our old school barcodes.
They say:
"Unsightly barcodes have been raping the beauty of package design long enough. That’s why we came up with a way to give barcodes a fun and beautiful makeover, while keeping its functional utility intact. We christened this new type of barcode the "Design Barcode" and pitched it to various manufacturers throughout Japan. As a result, many companies adopted it into their package design, and we helped to turn barcodes into a new channel for companies to communicate to their consumers."
